Our OCTlab from the University of Basel, Switzerland, in close cooperation with the human-centered HuCE-Optolab has expanded a Spectralis® OCT system from Heidelberg Engineering with a second swept-source OCT at 1060nm wave length.

This “Hydra Dual Wavelength OCT” can record simultaneously at identical positions sectional images at both wavelengths. The additional OCT system is fully integrated into the existing environment, the ophthalmologist needs no extra effort to operate the system.
